Everybody is wondering if Aaron Glenn wants Aaron Rodgers as his QB.
That is a fair question to ask.
But there is another question you need to ask.
Does Aaron Rodgers want to play for a rookie head coach who will be learning on the job next year?
Rodgers can just choose to retire.
But all these people pushing this narrative that Glenn should move on from Rodgers, and start fresh at QB, be careful what you wish for.
Rodgers threw 28 TD passes this past season, the same as Buffalo’s Josh Allen, an MVP candidate.
The QB draft doesn’t look great this year, and neither does the QB free agent market.
And if you don’t have a legit answer at QB in the NFL, where are you going?
A couple of years ago, former Jets coach Herman Edwards put it perfectly:
“If you’ve got a quarterback, you’ve got a chance. If you don’t have a QB, that field is 150 yards long.”
