A lot of people have been speculating that the signing of D’Brickashaw Ferguson to a long-term contract extension might get the ball rolling on a deal for Darrelle Revis? I personally don’t undertand the connection.
Unless Revis lowers his demands from $16 million per, the Ferguson deal is irrelevent to his situation.
If Revis was willing to take a deal for about $12, 13 million per, then his negotiations would progress.
Otherwise, all is the same on the Revis front.
