Should the Jets consider this guy at 10, even though there are bigger needs?

If you pick based on value, Georgia tight end Brock Bowers could be a good value pick for the Jets with the 10th pick of the first round.

NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah has him ranked as the 7th best prospect in the draft, and loves his “elite speed, strength and playmaking ability.”

Bowers is a Swiss army knife that can be moved around like a chess piece on offense.

“He lined up all over the field at Georgia — in-line, on the wing, split out and even at running back,” Jeremiah wrote for NFL.com. “He is very sudden in his release, and he uses his upper-body strength to chuck defenders when pressed at the line of scrimmage. He catches a lot of quick-hitters in the flat and he’s a maniac on screens.”

Bowers rare talent is quite obvious.

“He is easy to grade,” Jeremiah said. “I mean, when you watch him, he’s super easy to grade. He is one of the best ten players in the draft. Size-wise, speed-wise I think he is going to be very [similar] to (George Kittle).”

While the Jets have other bigger needs, Bowers might be too good to pass up at 10.
