It’s unclear who is going to start for the Jets at nose tackle on Sunday, but no matter who it is, they will have their hand’s full. Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey is playing on a high level.
“He’s playing very well,” Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said. “I think he does an excellent job of getting the group going. I like the way he practices, I like the way he competes in the game. I think football is important to him. He brings a lot of passion and juice to the locker room, to the practice field and to the game field. He’s a good blocker, and I know that sound simplistic, but he blocks pretty well whether it’s run or pass.”
