During his introductory press conference, new Jets GM John Idzik detailed his team-building philosophy.
In the following quote, he pointed out one important part of his plan –
“To me, all of [my] experiences have solidified the power of ‘we’, the power of ‘we’ over ‘me,'” Idzik said. “That’s something that is going to be very strong here in New York. It will be based on a collaborative effort. It will be inclusive, it will be well thought out and researched. It will be the power of ‘we.'”
Idzik has to figure out if Santonio Holmes has that mindset, especially before he re-works his contract in a way that might extend the wide receiver’s stay in Florham Park.
