If Jets don’t improve this, they have no shot

While the Jets’ playoff hopes are a long-shot, if they don’t improve in this area, it’s a no-shot.

The Jets’ pass defense in their win against Kansas City last Sunday was substandard.

They gave up four wide-open touchdown catches – two each to tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

They’re lucky they had AFC Offensive Player of the Week Josh McCown at quarterback to help them overcome this.

But if this kind of porous pass defense keeps up, they have almost no chance of running the table and making the playoffs.

The NFL’s a passing league, and you can’t play pass defense like the Jets did against Kansas City and have sustainable success.
