The Jets have released WR Patrick Turner, the former Miami Dolphin they claimed on Sunday. They also released OLB Ricky Foley from the practice squad.
Perhaps the Jets should consider re-signing David Clowney, and here is why – they don’t have a deep threat right now to blow the top off the defense. Once Santonio Holmes returns from his four-game suspension, they will have one of the best deep threats around, but right now, they have a bunch of 4.5-4.6 guys, nobody with Clowney’s 4.3 speed.
