New York Daily News columnist Gary Myers thinks the Jets made a mistake by playing Braylon Edwards on Sunday night.
“Rex Ryan, Mike Tannenbaum and Woody Johnson sent the wrong message to
their team by letting Braylon Edwards play Sunday night, five days after his DWI
arrest, but they did send the right message around the NFL with their victory
over the Dolphins,” wrote Myers . . .Â
“After the game, Ryan was exhilarated and relieved. He dumped the Gatorade bucket
on Jason Taylor, who had a successful homecoming. And he had a victory after a
very difficult week, even if the Jets failed to send a strong statement in how
they dealt with Edwards.”
