John Idzik has made it clear, over and over, the Jets will stick to their value board.
Teams often get in trouble when they reach for a player due to a position need.
Idzik told “Sal Pal” that the Jets picks will be dictated by “the talent available when we pick.”
When asked if they would pick a quarterback in the first round, Idzik told Sal, “we would not be averse to picking any player if our evaluation determines that is the best talent available when we pick.”
That is always the best approach in the draft – always.
