The Jets promoted practice squad tight end Chris Pantale to their regular roster.
He certainly looks the part of an NFL tight end at 6-5, 254 pounds.
Pantale doesn’t have great speed (4.9 forty), but he is smart, consistent player, who has soft hands, and is a very good blocker.
He should be able to help the Jets’ kickoff return blocking, which has been substandard.
Pantale is from Wayne, New Jersey, which is very close to MetLife Stadium.
